Woodchester Mansion Trust currently provides on-site training for the Prince’s Trust’s Get Into Heritage scheme and for The Prince of Wales’s Building Crafts Apprentices Scheme
There are many walks to take around the grounds, we spent a couple of very pleasant hours walking with the children. We just about got back to the cars before it got dark!
Barry and I are now planning to go back there in the summer and with just £2 to park it is a very inexpensive day out
Take care, Natalie xx
We've been there - there is a fab campsite near by. I love the atmosphere, really spooky! Beautiful woodland too.
ReplyDeleteIt was a spooky place I agree, it did not help that Kate was telling us about the infamous local black cat that lives in the woods!
DeleteLove the woodlands pic - and a good New Year walk is a family tradition with us. Even though I never feel like it, it always perks me up! Happy New Year!
ReplyDeleteI know exactly what you mean, my boys say to me now when I am grumpy that we must go for a walk as it always cheers me up. Hot chocolate in the woods helps too! xx
