After picking Asa up from school on Friday we raced to our local farm shop, to try and find the perfect tree. I headed straight to the biggest we could fit in the car while the boys thought one their own height was the right choice. After a little negotiation we decided on the biggest one we could possibly fit in our cottage, I even took some wool cut to the height and width of the space. One tree, tick
Saturday was spent doing many many crafts, I am not going let you in on our Christmas secrets yet as allot of them are for presents. Can you spot what the boys are making above?
We live very close to an arboretum called Westonbirt, it is beautiful in the daytime however at Christmas they put on an enchanted Christmas walk. It runs on Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings until Christmas. It is truly magical.
There was Delicious mulled wine for the adults...................
Bubbles in the forest for the children
Glowing toadstools
Scary Asa and Jasper on the trees
And the most amazing smoked rings coming out of the forest
Sunday was spent relaxing with pancakes then a woodland walk, our own enchanted forest
New dens were found
Windswept mummy
Dinosaur trees
And a little boy who carried a rather large log all the way home for is beloved dog
Hoping you all had a lovely weekend too
Take care, Natalie x
